A graduate of Lakefield College School in 1982 and Ryerson University in 1986, Mitchell joined the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver after over a decade in managing tourism properties.
His client-centered experience has helped him provide optimum customer service to home buyers and home sellers alike.
Mitchell is a recipient of the Duke of Edinburgh Award. He has been interviewed on MSNBC News, BCTV News, CBC Radio, CBC Evening News, the Vancouver Province, West Coast Kids and the Vancouver Courier.
Mitchell has been happily married for 17 years. He and his wife have a son, Everett, and a daughter, Ellis.
While at Lakefield, Mitchell was a certified member of the Canadian Ski Patrol, and continues to enjoy downhill skiing with his family as well as swimming and other outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, cross country skiing, and snow shoeing.
